Integration with SalesForce

Internal users who have an SalesForce account are able to send a configuration to SalesForce Quote directly from WA. For partner users there exist the possibility to attach a configurations to SalesForce SPR.

SalesForce Quote

Integration with SalesForce offers two file structures for Quote import. SalesForce Quote file and WebArchitect sorted Quote file. SalesForce Quote file imports according to the SAP ordering and WebArchitect sorted Quote file keeps the WebArchitect sorting as in the excel file (e.g. options are kept within the system where they are ordered). For ordering the factory sort order is mainly kept unchanged.

For internal users who have an SalesForce account there are three ways to send a configuration from WA to SalesForce Quote. Additionally, if the user is working within SalesForce there the possibility to call WA from SalesForce. Let’s see how to send configuration to SalesForce Quote from WA:

Open WA, go to My configurations page, choose necessary configuration -> Context menu -> Send -> Send to SalesForce Quote -> enter permitted Quote number, select the SalesForce Quote file or WebArchitect sorted Quote file and select replace or append option. Refresh your Sales Force Quote page to see selected configuration was successfully appended or replaced

Another way - open My configurations page, set checkbox for necessary configuration (near configuration name), at Action Panel choose Send -> Send to SalesForce Quote -> enter Quote number, select the SalesForce Quote file or WebArchitect sorted Quote file and select replace or append option. Refresh your SalesForce Quote page to see selected configuration was successfully appended or replaced

Additionally, it’s possible to send configuration to SalesForce Quote from configuration page: choose configuration, open it for editing, at Action Panel choose Send -> Send to SalesForce Quote -> enter Quote number, select the SalesForce Quote file or WebArchitect sorted Quote file and select replace or append option. Refresh your SalesForce Quote page to see selected configuration was successfully appended or replaced

Let’s see how to call WA from SalesForce when user is working with SalesForce:

Open your Quote. At the horizontal menu bar click on the last one button (arrow). In dropdown menu choose “Quote Number to WA”

In opened WA select necessary configuration. You can send it to Sales Force with the same three ways described above. Refresh your Sales Force Quote page to see selected configuration was successfully appended or replaced.

SalesForce Special Price Request (SPR)

Sales Force Special Price Request system let to attach configurations to SPR directly from WA. Login to Sales Force SPR. Select Special Price Request Tool:

Choose necessary SPR and open it. Inside SPR page go to Attach Files section -> press "Attach files from WebArchitect":

WebArchitect will be opened in a separate window on My configurations page. Choose configuration, open it for editing. At Action Panel click on Send icon -> Send to SalesForce SPR:
